
Tourism and Leisure Minister Adrian Earnshaw has responded to public opinion about the future of the Summerland site.
Contributors into yesterday's Talking Heads programme were almost unanimous in their demands for some sort of entertainment complex.
And they were similarly united in their disapproval of the site being sold into private hands and the subsequent possibility of apartments being built there.
Mr Earnshaw has made the assurance new leisure facilities ARE being looked into, including interest from one firm about building a bowling alley.
He says things known as MUGAS are also being considered:
