Tweet sought information on the high-street burglary case
An appeal for information on social media has led to the arrest of a suspect in a high-street burglary case.
Police tweeted yesterday seeking for assistance in their investigations.
A 33-year-old appeared in court today on two counts of burglary and one of theft from the Boots store in Douglas.
He's accused of stealing various bottles of aftershave and perfume on Sunday.
Officers say he tried to sell some of the items to members of the public in the sunken gardens on Douglas promenade.
