Education minister says more meetings are planned
Further meetings between the education department and a teaching union that's voted in favour of strike action are planned.
Education Minister Julie Edge insists talks are ongoing after NASUWT members backed a walkout over pay and conditions and rejecting a two per cent payrise.
Two thirds of the union's 600 members voted - with 84 per cent backing a strike and 94 per cent in favour of action short of strike.
