Tim Glover joins Julie Edge in calling for political recess to end to discuss 'urgent' issues
An Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK has become the latest to back calls for an early House of Keys sitting after Manx Care predicted an overspend of nearly £17 million this financial year.
Tim Glover criticised the two percent income tax hike introduced this year to raise funds for the health service, calling it a failure.
He questions whether the health service is underfunded, rather than over budget, and reiterated his belief that the Budget needs to undergo reform.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge has already called for an end to the political recess following recent disruption to the Island's public transport network.
Mr Glover says he will continue to push for a shorter recess, arguing that the ability to address pressing issues is lost during the break.
