A businessman who has lived in the Isle of Man for over 20 years will contest the single seat in Ayre in September's general election.
Andrew Newington-Bridges is a former member of Arbory Commissioners and a past chairman of the Isle of Man Municipal Association.
Mr Newington-Bridges had a career in manufacturing, marketing and sales before moving to the Island and now lives in Sulby.
He says there are multiple threats to the Isle of Man's well being, from sources both on and off the Island.
The other candidates to declare in Ayre so far are sitting member Eddie Teare and Liberal Vannin candidate Pat Ayres.
