700 to take part in the 10-kilometre course
The ToughMann Challenge will kick off this afternoon (Saturday) at Ballamoar farm in Ballaugh.
Around 700 people will take part in the 10-kilometre obstacle adventure course from 1pm - they'll battle a two kilometre run, a 1,000 ft climb, and 25 obstacles.
Marshalls and volunteers have been recruited to oversee it.
Individual and group participants are raising money for a variety of charities, including Tabitha's Trust, which is the main partner for this year's event.
It's expected the last person will cross the finish line by 4pm.
