Travelodge has applied for signs to be erected at the Villiers Square development.
The hotel chain wants one permanent illuminated wall mounted sign and one illuminated totem sign.
It agreed a 30 year lease in November 2024, after the Tevir Group was granted permission to build a six-storey hotel with capacity for 80 beds..
Building at the site began during the summer of last year.
