Chief Minister says Government working to process funds as soon as possible
Treasury is working to process emergency payments to those seeking funds following the recent floods in Laxey.
That's the assurance Chief Minister Howard Quayle gave at this morning's sitting of the House of Keys.
He confirmed 37 applications for the £500 payment have been received so far, with 15 payments having been completed on Friday.
However, when asked if the review into the flooding will include a look at future payments, Mr Quayle said that's not the purpose of the investigation:
