TT Day 5:  Everything you need to know about road closures

The main practice session and contingency is to be used

The Mountain Road is expected to begin closing from quarter past eleven this morning from Barrule Park in Ramsey, with a further closure in place at half past from the Bungalow.

The entire TT course will shut an hour later at half-twelve for the remainder of the qualifying sessions.

Roads will reopen at 4.30pm for a short period before another full closure at 6 because last night's practice was unable to go ahead.

Roads will reopen no later than 9.30.

Schedule:

  • 11.15am: Mountain Road closes
  • 12.30pm: Full closure around TT course
  • 1pm: Sidecars
  • 2.15pm: Superbike and Superstock
  • 3.05pm: Supersport and Supertwin
  • 4.30pm: Roads around the TT course reopen except the Mountain Road
  • 6pm: Full closure around TT course
  • 6.30pm: Superbike and Superstock
  • 7.20pm: Supersport and Supertwin
  • 8.10pm: Sidecars
  • 9:30pm: Latest roads reopen
