Bacchas A earn sixth successive win

Bacchas A made it six successive wins as they eased past bottom side Castletown Celts in the Rossborough Mixed Premier League.

Andy Whiting struck twice, with Jamie Brown and Elliot Reid also on the scoresheet for the table-toppers in a 5-0 win.

Elsewhere, Vikings A defeated Valkyrs A 4-1 to remain in second place, thanks to goals from Rob Pritchard (2), Nathan Evans and Kim Carney.

In the top flight's other match, Vikings B continued their superb form with a tight 3-2 victory over Ramsey A, who remain two points clear of the drop zone.
