Mansfield duo win sixth TT in succession
Mansfield brothers Ben and Tom Birchall romped to an emphatic ninth win at the Isle of Man TT in Monday's Locate.im Sidecar Race 1.
They finished more than 48 seconds ahead of their nearest challengers, John Holden and Lee Cain, who set the pace in qualifying on Sunday.
Victory for the Birchall's means they've now won the last six sidecar races in-a-row around the Mountain Course, and passenger Tom is now the most successful in TT history.
A quickest lap of 119.13mph saw them fractionally miss out on another sub-19 minute lap on the Isle of Man.
Alan Founds and Jake Lowther placed third, but all were left trailing in the wake of the Birchall boys.
