Manx fighter looking to extend unbeaten pro record in Liverpool
Isle of Man pro boxer Jamie Devine is relishing the prospect of returning to the ring this weekend as he looks to extend his unbeaten professional record.
The Island-born fighter - whose early pro tally stands at four wins and no defeats - takes on Lithuanian Simas Volosinas at Grand Central Hall in Liverpool this Sunday (13 October).
It's been an extended time away from competitive action for Devine who hasn't fought since April and was forced to pull out of a scheduled bout in July due to injury.
But going into this weekend he's told Manx Radio he's feeling fresh and is ready to try and get the job done against what he calls a 'strong and experienced' opponent:
It's been a hectic year so far for Devine who has fitted in those four fights having only made his debut at professional level on 6 October 2023.
The 2022 Commonwealth Games competitor's last showdown was a points victory at the same Merseyside venue back on 27 April against Jahfieus John Lesley Faure in a four-round contest.
