Island nations faced off in three-game series in Winchester
The Isle of Man women's T20i squad have tasted defeat against fellow Island nation Guernsey during a three-match series in the UK.
Both sides met for two days of matches across last Sunday and this Monday (5-6 May) at Sparsholt Cricket Club in Winchester with Guernsey winning all three contests.
Two matches took place on day one - the first saw the Isle of Man bowled all out for 98 with the standout batting displays coming from Danielle Murphy (27) and Rachel Overman (20).
Despite positive bowling performances from Lucy Barnett (3-11) and Jo Hicks (1-14) Guernsey surpassed the Isle of Man tally with three balls remaining to finish on 99-7.
A tougher game two saw the Isle of Man all out for 64 with Guernsey taking victory again, this time within 12.5 overs.
The final matchup on the Monday saw Guernsey set a target of 127-5 with Caitlin Henery (3-25) earning her first international wickets for the Manx side.
The Isle of Man response saw Bekkie Webster manage 20 not-out but their charge was halted at 52-4 with the match abandoned due to heavy rain.
