Douglas took another step closer to promotion from EuroManx South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Three with a 38-12 win over Newton-le-Willows.
A try from Alex Nicholson put Douglas ahead and three penalties and a conversion from Bryn Snellgrove gave them a 16-5 half-time lead.
Second half tries from Mark McGee, Andy Hollis and a second from impressive youngster Nicholson, stretched the Douglas lead before two conversions and a drop goal from the reliable boot of Snellgrove rounded the day off.
The result leaves Douglas needing two points from their remaining three games to be sure of promotion.
