Douglas missed their chance to take top spot in North One West and crashed to their heaviest defeat this season going down 24-0 away at Stockport.
Their away form must now be a cause for concern with only one win from four and trips yet to come against the fancied sides.
The Manx side could’ve gone top had they won, but instead follow up last week’s defeat at Broughton Park with another loss on their travels.
Bryn Snellgrove and Guy Wood were among notable absentees for Douglas.
