Playoff awaits
Ellan Vannin went down 4-2 to a talented Szekely Land side in their final group match at the ConIFA European Football Cup.
It means they've missed out on a place in the semi-finals.
Trailing 4-0 at half time, a second-half brace from Ciaran McNulty gave the Manx side a glimmer of hope, but it wasn't to be.
They now go into a 5/6-place playoff against Karpatalja, which will be played in the main stadium in Nicosia tomorrow night.
The match still has meaning for Ellan Vannin, with a win being a must to gain nine points towards qualification for the ConIFA Football World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in London in June next year.
