Island captain believes there may still be historic perceptions about the sport
It's hoped more younger players can start getting involved in golf on the Isle of Man.
That's from the Island's men's team captain Darryl Callister who believes the junior section of the game, currently, is 'maybe not as grand as it was.'
He thinks there may still be historic perceptions of the sport being for older competitors.
Darryl's told Manx Radio this is not the case particularly when looking at the sport elsewhere in the world:
Hockey: Cup finals double-header on the cards
Rugby: Douglas to host Sandbach in big top-of-the-table clash
Football: Prem title contenders Corinthians and Peel to meet
