Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott claimed their first ever TT victory with success in the Sure sidecar opener.
They finished 17 seconds ahead of John Holden/Andrew Winkle with Tim Reeves and Gregory Cluze completing the top three.
It was a frustrating afternoon for Manxman Dave Molyneux and Patrick Farrance who led until the final lap when they retired with their machine misfiring.
Meanwhile, the Birchall brothers were the early leaders but were forced out with minor injuries on lap two.
After six previous podiums, Harrison was thrilled.
Tim Glover described the moment they crossed the line.
