John McGuinness proved again he is the one to watch at TT 2009, when he further increased the pace in yesterday evening's practice session.
The absolute lap record holder recorded an unofficial Suberbike class lap record, going round the circuit in 17 minutes, 23.46 seconds, an average speed of 130.171 mph.
It was the second fastest lap ever seen round the mountain course, beaten only by his own official record for the senior class, of 130.354 mph.
The session got away more or less on time in glorious conditions, albeit in slightly cooler temperatures than the previous two evenings.
On Sure Radio TT McGuinness told Chris Kinley he had a few difficulties, but overall was happy with his performance:
