Chris Whorrall is the sixth Isle of Man cyclist to be selected for the Great Britain Olympic Academy programme.
It was revealed yesterday that Tim Kennaugh will join Mark Christian on the programme from the beginning of November.
The Academy has been reduced to just eight endurance riders - Whorrall's inclusion means three will be from here.
Previous Manx riders to make the grade are Peter Kennaugh, Jonny Bellis and Mark Cavendish.
