The government has revealed how much its review of public service pensions has cost the taxpayer so far.
The British Medical Association asked for the details under the Island’s code of practice on access to government information.
In response, the government says the Hymans Robertson team has so far been paid £291,500 – and the cost of the consultation exercise has been £289,000.
In a statement, the government says the figures can be viewed in context of the length, scope and complexity of the review.
